Its a great privilege to work with a company like Starcraft that puts me in a such an awesome boat.   But after attending the Pro Staff meeting in New Paris, Indiana, I realize that the privilege of working with Starcraft is much more than the great boats.  Its being a part of an American company, family owned, family run, and with a genuine care for everyone involved with the company.

The meeting covered some of the new selling points of the boats: the unprecedented Lifetime plus 6 year warranty on all Starcraft boats.  This means that everything in the boat from bow to stern is warrantied for 6 years plus the hull of the boat for life.  Now that’s backing your product!  Other points of the meeting covered social media, networking, boat/product improvements for the future, upcoming tournament season, and marketing.  I’m really excited about some of the new improvements we’re going to see in the next few years!  Starcraft is really going to blow it out of the water!

It was also very impressive to do a tour of the factory, and see the boats being made.  Each and every one of those boats is hand made in assembly line fashion.  You don’t really think about it, but a riveted boat has to have every hole hand drilled, and riveted.  Then they place the boat in a water tank and check to make sure every rivet is sealed properly.  After that is goes to the stringer and support section.  The engineers really nailed it here, and you see first hand how Starcraft boats are built so strong and why they perform so well on big water.

This upcoming year is going to be really exciting for Team Starcraft.  Stay tuned, or better yet, hop on board a Starcraft if you want to join in!
